I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this auction on eBay today. Up for bid is the house that Elvis Presley lived in when his career took off.

Registered as a National Historical Property, this beautiful home in beautiful Memphis, Tennessee, is full of memories and memorabilia.

Not to encourage destruction, but you could make a profit on this investment quickly, selling items contained inside and outside of the house. What Elvis fan wouldn’t want a piece of a floorboard, a clipping from a tree, a bag of grass clippings, taken from the home where Elvis Presley lived and breathed? Well, maybe not a good idea to tear up floorboards in a National Historical Property, but you get the idea.

At the moment that I post this, the price is unbelievably low for a home of this type, not to mention a former home of a celebrity. I’m sure the price will rise tremendously, it should be fun to watch. But then again, if the price doesn’t rise, someone will get a real steal.
